Blobby robot likes to cuddle

Funktionide Part II from eltopo on Vimeo.

Lonely people whose landlords don't allow pets won't ever have to interact with people again thanks to this weird comfort robot. Verdict: freaky.

Scary Elmo Robot

This will not be on my Christmas wish list.

Spirit silent but Opportunity progressing

After limping to a halt, the Mars Spirit rover still hasn't made a sound since March.

The Opportunity rover however is chugging along nicely. It's automatic navigation using hazard avoidance cameras is impressive.

Line follower

The task: build a robot using Lego that will follow and dark line against a lighter background.

Turning is done using separate motors on the left and right wheels. Two light sensors are used to sense when the robot is going off course. An RCX 'brick' receives the light sensors' input and controls the motors' speed to keep the robot on track.

Here is a simple line following robot.

These line following robots from a competition are awesome.

Programming the brick will be the tricky part. Rather than struggle with this, let others inspire your project:
